Title: Cloud Migration Architect

Location: New York

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Migrations Senior Consultant with strong expertise in application migration cloud architecture and the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing existing onpremises environments designing target AWS architectures defining migration strategies and leading endtoend migration initiatives This role will act as a centralized technical resource supporting multiple applications stakeholders and migration requests across the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze existing onpremises application infrastructure and platform architectures
• Design scalable secure and costeffective AWS target architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
• Develop migration roadmaps strategies and execution plans for diverse application portfolios
• Lead endtoend migration activities including discovery assessment planning execution validation and optimization
• Collaborate with application owners infrastructure teams architects and business stakeholders to ensure successful migrations
• Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership throughout the migration lifecycle
• Evaluate application dependencies performance requirements security considerations and operational readiness
• Support modernization initiatives where appropriate including rehosting replatforming and refactoring strategies
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes governance standards and architectural best practices
• Act as a centralized point of contact for migrationrelated support requests across multiple applications
• Identify risks mitigation strategies and contingency plans during migration programs
• Document architecture designs migration procedures and operational handover materials

Required Skills

• Strong experience in cloud migration and transformation programs
• Deep understanding of onpremises infrastructure application architectures networking and data center environments
• Handson expertise in AWS architecture design and cloud services
• Strong knowledge of migration frameworks tools and best practices
• Experience with application database and infrastructure migration methodologies
• Solid understanding of SDLC release management and change management processes
• Knowledge of security compliance disaster recovery and highavailability architectures
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple migration projects and support requests simultaneously
• Experience creating architecture diagrams technical documentation and migration runbooks

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
• Experience with enterprisescale cloud migration programs
• Familiarity with automation Infrastructure as Code IaC and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
• Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
