Job Description

Broadway Tent & Event is a leading provider of event rental services, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for clients and communities. As a Furniture Delivery Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery, setup, and breakdown of event rental equipment, including furniture, tents, and staging. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and are passionate about providing outstanding customer service in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct on-site labor teams to ensure efficient and safe operations during event setup and breakdown.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload event rental items such as tables, chairs, tents, stages, and lighting equipment.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of rental equipment at various event locations, ensuring all items meet company standards.
  • Operate a box truck as needed to support delivery operations.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to clients at homes and businesses, addressing any questions or concerns on-site.
  • Assist with order fulfillment and equipment testing to maintain quality standards.
  • Uphold all company safety standards and procedures while working on-site and during transportation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and ensure successful event execution.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • At least 1 year of experience driving a box truck preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50–80 lbs. comfortably.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand and be physically active for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Availability for some night and weekend work as required.
