We are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician to support the Plant Services Department. This role involves performing preventative maintenance on boilers HVAC and refrigeration units. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe clean and fully functional environment for staff and patients with a strong focus on safety cleanliness and efficiency. Hours for the HVAC Technician are Monday- Friday from 7a-330p with an on-call rotation every 5-6 weeks. Candidates should have a certification in EPA 608 and at least 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance preferred with experience in preventative maintenance painting basic carpentry and basic equipment repairs.
Key responsibilities include maintenance of the facilitys systems such as HVAC boilers refrigeration and steam lines and other associated systems as needed. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and infection control protocols are critical particularly in patient areas.
Hours for the Plant Services Technician are Monday- Friday from 7a-330p with an on-call rotation every 4-5 weeks. Candidates should have an EPA 608 Certification and at least 3 years of experience in HVAC and basic maintenance repairs. A strong work ethic the ability to work independently and excellent attention to detail are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform tasks in various weather conditions. Flexibility with working hours including weekends or after-hours work may be required. A valid drivers license and background check are necessary.
