The Role of a Kindergarten Teacher
Classroom Organizer
• set up the classroom （the layout of the tables and chairs）
• help Chinese teachers set up tables for lunch and beds for kids to take naps
Instructor
• plan a program that helps each student achieve learning objectives and curriculum goals • prepare lesson materials and resources appropriate to the students and learning
activities
• utilize games, music, books, art and other resources to teach basic skills and foster
student development
• be aware of different learning styles and try to reach each student in the way he/she
learns best
• Assess children’s performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on
regular basis
• Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing
• instruct children on personal hygiene practices and self-care
Rule Enforcer
• One of the skills kindergarten students must learn is how to get along with others. An
effective kindergarten teacher explains the rules that the class will live by and maintains order in the room so learning can take place. You decide in advance what rewards and consequences will be given for keeping or breaking the rules.
Cheerleader
• Kindergarten children can be both excited and hesitant in their learning. Along with
teaching them new skills, the teacher stands back as they try them out, cheering them on all the way. Children sense the confidence adults have in them, and the teacher's "you can do it" attitude teaches them that, indeed, they can.

14:10 – 16:00 Class time;Work time;Teach 1 circle
16:00 – 17:00 EP;Prep time
Pay Scale
Monthly Salary:16900 –19900 yuan
Local Minimum Wage:2100 yuan
Housing Allowance:5, 000 yuan per month
Performance Bonus:1, 000 yuan per month
In total:25, 000 – 28, 000 yuan
All numbers are before tax.
