Rutherfordton, NC. As a Maintenance Electrical Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems that support manufacturing equipment and facility operations.

What We’re Looking For:- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required
- 5–10 years of industrial maintenance or engineering experience preferred
- Intermediate to advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including LOTO and 5S
- Experience with automation systems and MRO processes
- Experience using CMMS software for work order management and preventive maintenance documentation
- Proficiency using computers and mobile devices for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Electrical Technician:- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant production equipment and facility systems
- Maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control components throughout the facility
- Support operation and maintenance of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs), Catalytic Oxidizers, and Tank Farm equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain utility systems including:
- Steam and condensate systems
- Chilled water systems
- Cooling water systems
- Hot oil systems
- HVAC systems
- Compressed air systems
- Power distribution systems
- Assist with equipment setup, installation, and commissioning activities
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential equipment issues
- Document work orders, preventive maintenance activities, and project updates using CMMS software
- Participate in shift hand-off meetings to ensure work continuity and communication
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Attend training sessions and stay current with maintenance technologies and best practices
- Work overtime as needed to support production operations
Physical Requirements:- Frequently lift up to 75 pounds throughout an 8–12-hour shift
- Stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, and climb throughout the workday
- Safely use ladders and mobile stairs to access elevated equipment
- Work on equipment positioned above shoulder height or below waist level
- Push and pull toolboxes and maintenance equipment throughout the facility
