Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes, production efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, process improvement, lean manufacturing, root-cause analysis, and engineering documentation .
The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, methods, and procedures.
Analyze production processes to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost .
Identify manufacturing issues and perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support production teams with technical troubleshooting and process improvements.
Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and engineering specifications.
Design and implement tooling, fixtures, equipment, and process improvements as required.
Support new product introduction (NPI) and product/process transfers into manufacturing.
Collaborate with design engineering and quality teams to ensure products are manufacturable and meet specifications.
Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Analyze production data and develop recommendations for improving manufacturing performance.
Support process validation, capability studies, and quality improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, and other manufacturing documentation.
Work with suppliers and vendors on tooling, equipment, and manufacturing requirements.
Support equipment installation, qualification, and process validation activities.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in engineering projects, cost-reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
