Function Description We are seeking experienced
Offshore Scaffolders to support construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects on offshore oil and gas facilities in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems while adhering to all offshore safety regulations and company standards.
Main Tasks & responsibilities: - Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures in offshore environments.
- Interpret scaffolding drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all scaffold installations comply with safety regulations, engineering requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct pre-use inspections and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Transport, organize, and maintain scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSA), toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including maintenance, construction, and operations personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements Requirements: - Scaffolding certification (CISRS, OPITO, or equivalent) - mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of offshore scaffolding experience
- Proven experience in the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems
- Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations and scaffolding inspection requirements
- Experience supporting maintenance, construction, and turnaround activities in offshore oil & gas facilities
Technical Knowledge: - Scaffold erection, alteration, and dismantling techniques
- Scaffold inspection procedures and load-bearing requirements
- Use of scaffolding tools, equipment, and access systems
- Interpretation of scaffold drawings and work specifications
- Knowledge of offshore safety standards and industry best practices
Certifications and Documents: - Valid Seaman's Book
- Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET / T-BOSIET, RIGPASS, CBSP )
- Work at Heights certification
- Confined Space certification (preferred)
- OGUK Medical Fitness Certificate
- Valid passport ( US visa is an advantage )
- CISRS Scaffolder Card or equivalent scaffolding certification (preferred)
- US VISA
