Role Overview Heavy Maintenance Representatives represent PSA Airlines in all matters relating to Heavy Maintenance Visits (HMV). The role supervises the maintenance vendors performing work on PSA Airlines aircraft and ensures vendor quality, cost and performance remain within expectations by monitoring their performance and processes. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site representation for PSA Airlines in all matters relating to Heavy Maintenance. Cover Heavy Maintenance Visits (HMV) and unscheduled drop-in maintenance performed by the HMV service provider so that quality, cost and schedules stay within expectations. Provide a management presence so that all decisions and actions relating to the services provided by the HMV service provider are in the best interest of the company. Oversee the HMV service provider for compliance with all policies, practices and procedures required by the General Maintenance Manual and other published technical data, documents and directives. Oversee the HMV service provider for compliance with all contractual obligations. Review and validate non-routine technical discrepancies. Monitor the completion and processing of aircraft maintenance records. Monitor the progress and status of work being performed by the HMV service provider, and monitor each HMV for completion of work within the established schedule and cost. Act as liaison between the HMV service provider and the Maintenance and Engineering department. Ensure all company property and assets are accounted for and protected. Coordinate with and assist the Material Logistics Coordinator so that parts and material are available to meet established schedules. Provide daily progress reports for each HMV to the Maintenance Planning Manager, and compile cost, man-hour, performance and other reports as needed. Review invoicing from the HMV service provider, verify that costs are valid and correct, and assist in developing HMV plans and budgets. Promptly report to the Heavy Maintenance Manager any actual or potentially negative condition affecting work quality, work progress, or completion of work within the established schedule or cost. For each HMV aircraft, audit the Statement of Work and Work Release to ensure all data matches, and audit the HMV provider so that all Statement of Work and Work Release maintenance is accounted for on work cards. Ensure all scheduled maintenance is completed on the aircraft Work Release or transferred in line with the approved procedures. Take responsibility for the company Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and the associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold, or be able to obtain, a U.S. passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting the position. Ability to speak, read and write English. If hired, must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the United States. Licences & Qualifications Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. Experience At least five years of experience in the maintenance of large aircraft. Previous experience overseeing heavy maintenance and/or vendor management. Additional Information This is not a supervisory position and no specific authorities are assigned. In the incumbent's absence, responsibilities are delegated to the Supervisor of Heavy Maintenance. The vacancy is advertised across several PSA Airlines locations. Work environment: professional office environment using standard office equipment. The role is largely sedentary, but the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lbs, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Security clearance: all employees must pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) per 49 CFR 1542.209 and a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements
